Raised in the mountains of New Mexico, and growing up surrounded by nature, Wes developed a keen instinct for wildlife from a very early age. In 1994, he joined his father in guiding deer and elk hunts, later working with other outfitters over the years. Eventually, Wes launched his own venture: Bull Valley Outfitters.
As a family-owned and operated business, Bull Valley Outfitters offers premier New Mexico hunts for elk, deer, antelope, turkey, bear, and mountain lion. We take pride in helping hunters not only pursue trophy animals but also gain new skills and create a lasting experience.

Wes began guiding hunters alongside his father in the early 1990s, at the ripe age of 13. He was booted unceremoniously out into the wilderness with not so much as a flashlight or a clue. From there partly due to a need to survive, he quickly learned, and over the decades his expertise in the field, combined with his reputation and commitment to hunter success, has made him a trusted name among hunters, bringing men and women to New Mexico from all over the country. Many of Wes’s clients return year after year, bringing their families and friends to share in the unparallelled experiences he creates.
During the off-season, Wes manages a working ranch in Southern New Mexico, where he continues to embody the spirit of the outdoors. He also enjoys fishing, spending quality time with his family,and instilling his lifelong traditions of promoting the values of hunting and conservation in the next generation.
